About Varamin Rugs

Varamin rugs come from the town of Varamin, located south of Tehran. They are especially known for the Mina Khani pattern, a repeating floral lattice that defines much of the local weaving style. The colors tend to be rich and traditional, with deep reds and blues set against softer beige tones. Varamin weavers use high quality wool and create designs that are orderly but still full of small details. This gives the rugs a clear structure and a recognizable regional character.
